Herbal Tea: Lung Tea Blend

This blend includes Korean Licorice Mint, Sunflower, Mullein. All plants are organic. 

Herbal blend that is great for making tea by the pot to drink, for a face steam, foot bath, pelvic steam, hair rinse, wash for your skin, smoothies, soup broth.

Korean Licorice Mint is from the Mint Family and has a sweet taste, similar to Licorice Root, and is also savory, similar to anise star. This herb helps with gas, bloating, nausea, vomiting, and can stimulate appetite. They have antifungal and antibacterial properties. They are also antimutagenic, meaning they counteract mutagens (pesticides, microwaves, cell phones, air pollution, etc.) that impact our DNA. Wow!

Mullein is a biennial plant; meaning that the first year they grow out their leaves towards the Earth and the second year they grow their stalks and flowers. Mullein has an affinity for the respiratory system, supporting with coughs, colds, congestion, bronchitis, and allergies. Mullein is a go to plant for lung teas, especially during fires. Emotionally, mullein is said to support the lungs in releasing grief and sadness. 

Sunflower petals have an affinity for the respiratory and urinary systems, and are helpful with reducing inflammation. An herbal tea supports with sore throat, colds, and bronchitis. Sunflower is a demulcent, meaning that they moisten the mucous membranes that line organs, respiratory, reproductive, and digestive systems
